Alex da Silva Barbosa Andrade

Born April 16th 1974 in Luanda/Angola from Cape Verdian parents.
Grew up at Cape Verdian Islands. Works and lives between Cabo Verde and Rotterdam (The Netherlands).

Graduated with honor at the Willem de Kooning Academy of Art and Architecture
in Rotterdam in 1999.

Followed the Post graduate in the year 2000 at Minerva Academy, Groningen/The Netherlands

Exchange Programme Erasmus Socrates students at Alonso Cano Faculdad de Bellas Artes,
Granada/Spain for three months in 1997/1998.
